SANTA FE OPERA HOUSE

MUSICAL THEATER PRODUCTIONS IN SANTA FE

Located only nine miles from the El Rey Inn Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Opera is the area’s premiere venue for musical theater productions. Originally founded in 1957 by New York conductor John Crosby, the Santa Fe Opera sits on 150-acres of scenic desert land. The Santa Fe Opera’s dramatic adobe theater blends seamlessly with the sparse desert landscape leaving a lasting impression on everyone who visits. A fusion of nature and art, the Santa Fe Opera has grown to become one of the country’s leading cultural festivals.
